The The Walking Dead Pro pinball machine was released in 2014 by manufacturer Stern Pinball, Inc., of Chicago, Illinois. Based on the comic book and television series, the game challenges players to survive the zombie apocalypse alongside Sheriff Rick Grimes.

The The Walking Dead Pro is considered a fast-playing, challenging pinball machine with a deep ruleset that keeps players coming back for more. Key features include:
Playfield toys: Custom-sculpted zombie walkers designed by special effects creator Greg Nicotero. Toys include a bashing “Well Walker,” a “Bicycle Girl” ramp shot, and a “Walker Bash Head” inside the “Cell Block C” interactive prison building.
Mission-based objectives: Players collect supplies by hitting three bank drop targets and complete modes by bashing the Cell Block C prison and shooting the Well Walker.
Multiball: Players can start multiball by bashing features and stacking various modes.
Special features: The game includes a “Prison” super-action playfield magnet and reliable illuminated star rollover switches.
Software: The code was designed by Lyman F. Sheats Jr., with some players noting that community-created custom code updates improve the voiceovers.
